Elon Musk tweets alluding to “break up” with Bitcoin

Bitcoin price has just recovered slightly, but continued to plummet after billionaire Elon Musk posted a meaningful tweet. With the hashtag #Bitcoin and a broken heart icon, and a photo of an angry couple leading to a breakup, it seems like Elon Musk is implying that the love for Bitcoin is over.

Bitcoin immediately dropped 2.8%, to $37,800. Before that, Bitcoin was on the verge of recovering from multi-month lows, to climbing near $40,000. The cryptocurrency market was also affected and plummeted after Bitcoin unexpectedly plunged.

Elon Musk posted a photo with a conversation between a couple in love. The girl said that the love affair between the two would end if the guy continued to post quotes from Linkin Park’s lyrics. The boy replied, “So in the end it didn’t even matter?”, which is the lyrics of Linkin Park’s famous song “In The End”.

A story that could be funny, if it weren’t for the fact that Elon Musk wants to break up with Bitcoin and cause the price of this cryptocurrency to drop. Before that, Elon Musk has also repeatedly caused the price of Bitcoin to plummet, with his tweets about Tesla no longer accepting payments in Bitcoin, as well as concern that Bitcoin mining will affect the environment.
