Elon Musk: Cybertruck is about to be able to go sideways like a crab

Recently, Elon Musk has confirmed that the next updated version of Cybertruck will be equipped with 4 engines, with each engine capable of independently transmitting power to each different wheel. In addition, this model also “learns” more sideways skills like cornering, like GMC’s Hummer EV.

Specifically, in October, users were bewildered when Tesla suddenly deleted information related to Cybertruck’s specifications and price from their website. However, it turned out that this car company only wanted to update the information before the 2022 version was released, because it has been 2 years since the launch date, Cybertruck has not received any significant upgrades.

On his personal Twitter, CEO Elon Musk revealed a bit of information about this new version: ” The new model will use 4 engines, with extremely sensitive torque control at each wheel” . And when asked if the Cybertruck can move and turn and turn like a tank, Musk frankly replied: “Our car will be equipped with both front and rear steering wheel, so it can go. It’s like a crab, but what’s a tank? ”

This can be seen as a new strategy to help Cybertruck catch up with other competitors in the current market. Earlier in 2019, Tesla announced that Cybertruck would be the world’s first electric pickup, but was later surpassed by Rivian and GMC with the R1T and Hummer EV. Most likely, both of these models will go on sale in December of this year, that is, before Cybertruck can complete new updates.
