Elon Musk announces he will step down as CEO of Twitter

Elon Musk has said he will step down as Twitter chief executive once a replacement is found. He will only run the software team and the server of this social network.

Earlier, billionaire Elon Musk made a survey on whether he should resign from the leadership position or not. More than 17.5 million users took part in the vote, and 57.5% think Elon Musk should resign.

There are a number of potential names for the new CEO position such as: investor Jason Calacanis, David Sacks – one of the founders of PayPal with Musk, Sriram Krishnan – a former executive at Twitter, Facebook, Snap and con Donald Trump’s son-in-law – Jared Kushner.
