DxOMark: Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra is the world’s most beautiful smartphone, surpassing Huawei P40 Pro +, Galaxy Note 20 Ultra

Yesterday (11/8), in the 10th anniversary event held in China, Xiaomi has officially launched the Mi 10 Ultra – the most advanced smartphone model of 2020.

True to its name, this phone seems to be “born” to compete with other flagships in the market, including the Huawei P40 Pro Plus and Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. Recently, the Mi 10 Ultra beat the world’s best camera smartphone according to DxOMark – Huawei P40 Pro, with an overall average score of 130.

A bit about the configuration, Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra is equipped with a system of 4 vertically arranged cameras on the back. The rear camera cluster of the machine includes a 48MP f / 1.85 main sensor, a 20MP f / 2.2 super wide-angle camera, a 48MP periscope camera with 10x optical zoom and 120x hybrid zoom, and a 12MP depth sensor to portrait photography.

According to DxOMark, the camera on the Mi 10 Ultra has very good quality, scoring an average score of 130, including 142 photo-taking and 106 video-recording points. With such a high score, this phone is currently leading the DxOMark camera phone rankings, beating the previous “crown” Huawei P40 Pro.

Speaking of photography, the Mi 10 Ultra is praised quite a bit for its color reproduction – lifelike, well-exposed, and zoomed images still retain a high level of detail. In addition, it also offers the ability to capture impressive bokeh images, separating the subject at an amazing level.

The ultra-wide-angle camera is also one of the highlights of Mi 10 Ultra, with a viewing angle of up to 128 degrees – the widest at the moment. Thanks to that, it also does better in distortion and noise control than the P40 Pro. On the other hand, the camera is also capable of capturing quite impressive night photos, retaining good details and less noise.

In addition to the ability to take pictures, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra also does a great job when it comes to video recording. The phone can record 4K 60fps and 8K 30fps videos. According to DxOMark, the video captured from the Mi 10 Ultra is of good quality, wide dynamic range, great colors, fast autofocus and effective anti-shake.

From a smartphone maker struggling to perfect the camera, Xiaomi has slowly climbed to first place in the DxOMark rankings after years of development. The Mi 10 Ultra is a prime example, showing that the company’s efforts over the years have finally paid off.
