Display Supply Chain Consultants, founder and CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants, Mr. Ross Young shared a series of information related to the iPhone 13 and the third-generation iPhone SE, while also citing sources from market research firm. Mizuho Securities.
Accordingly, the iPhone 13 is expected to have many design similarities with the upcoming iPhone 12, including a “Pro Max” variant with a 6.7-inch screen, a “Pro” variant with a 6.1-inch screen. , the standard 6.1-inch model and the 5.4-inch “mini” model.
All four iPhone 13 models will feature Samsung’s Y-OCTA touch technology. In addition, Ross Young also said BOE and LG Display will be responsible for producing OLED screens for the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro.
Most importantly, Ross Young believes that Apple will equip 120Hz ProMotion screen with scan frequency that automatically adjusts for iPhone 13 series, thanks to the application of LTPO (low temperature polycrystalline oxide) screen technology.
According to the report, the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini will have the same camera sensors as the iPhone 12 Pro Max, while the two high-end variants will have cameras with larger sensor sizes. That means all 4 models in the iPhone 13 series will be equipped with many significant camera improvements compared to the previous generation.
As for the 3rd generation iPhone SE, Ross Young thinks this phone will be launched in spring 2022, instead of 2021. It is expected to have a 6.1-inch LCD screen, Touch ID fingerprint sensor, support supports 5G sub-6GHz and owns a dual camera system similar to iPhone 11.
