Viettel (Viettel Solutions) deployed for 100% of tourist establishments across the country to serve the prevention of Covid-19.

The tourism health notification system was designed to assist the National Steering Committee for the Prevention of Epidemic Covid-19 in proactively capturing domestic and international passenger schedules when traveling in Vietnam. The system is integrated into the Vietnam Health Declaration application to be convenient for businesses and tourists to use.

The system will be applied at 100% tourist establishments nationwide, including: all entry points (airports, border gates); places to eat and drink (restaurants, hotels, bars, …); place of stay (hotel, motel, motel); amusement park, entertainment center, convention center; Passenger carriers are operating across the country. Managers and operators at service delivery locations will scan QR codes of passengers upon arrival and provide services at their facilities to record information.

The Vietnam Health Declaration application, officially launched on March 9, is an application for people who enter Vietnam to use to make medical declarations in order to find out the cases that need attention to ensure the prevention of a disease. dynamic. The application is available in 12 languages, convenient for immigrants to proactively declare. After a week of implementation, the system has recorded nearly 100,000 records of people on entry.

As ICTnews reported, on March 13, the Ministry of Health issued a written request to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to check tourism medical declarations at accommodation establishments nationwide to support support the National Epidemic Steering Committee in proactively knowing the schedule of international passengers traveling in Vietnam, thereby better controlling the disease.

Accordingly, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism is requested to direct tourist accommodation establishments nationwide to check the medical declaration of foreign visitors entering Vietnam from 6pm on March 7. / 2020 when checking in.

According to the instructions, the method of declaration consists of 2 steps: Step 1 – Accommodation staff use the phone or tablet to download the application “Travel health declaration” by searching for the exact keyword “Vietnam Health Declaration “from CH Play for devices using the Android operating system or App Store for devices using the iOS operating system; Step 2 – When the guest checks in, the accommodation staff uses Vietnam Health Declaration application, scans the “QR Code” code that the guest is issued upon entry or search for the medical declaration code (5) digits) of guests on mobile devices generated by the “Travel health declaration” app, or search by passport number for guests who have declared information at the border.
