Confusing corner: Xiaomi launched Redmi 10 version 2022 but nothing has changed

Recently, Xiaomi introduced the 2022 version of the Redmi 10 launched last year. It seemed that there would be a few changes in internal hardware, but it turned out that Redmi 10 2022 has the design, hardware configuration … nothing has changed compared to the version released in 2021 before.

Users will still have the same design with the back and frame from plastic. The device has a 6.5-inch LCD Full HD + screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, protected by Gorilla Glass 3. This screen uses a “mole” design with an 8MP selfie camera.

On the back, Redmi 10 2022 will also come with a 4 main camera system including a 50MP wide-angle camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera and 2 other pretty useless 2MP cameras.

In terms of performance, the 2022 version not only has not changed when it comes with a 12nm MediaTek Helio G88 chip, 4GB RAM, 64GB / 128GB storage memory, but it is even cut to 6GB RAM version. The included battery has a capacity of 5000mAh and supports 18W fast charging. The device runs on Android 11 with MIUI 12.5 interface.

Currently, Redmi 10 2022 does not have an official price and release date, but it is not clear what Xiaomi plans to do with this device. Before that, Xiaomi re-introduced the Redmi Note 8 smartphone, but it was the 2021 version. The device still has the same design but the CPU was changed from Snapdragon 665 to Helio G85, along with a Bluetooth module upgraded to 5.2.
