Types of Cloud Models

Cloud has two main types of models: Public Cloud and Private Cloud.

Hybrid Cloud is a hybrid environment between Public Cloud and Private Cloud plus Data Centers.

Multi-cloud is an environment that combines many Public Clouds.

Public Cloud

Public Cloud is a Cloud model whose resources can be used by anyone. Public Cloud is the most popular model today because in addition to providing computer resources, Public Cloud also provides a lot of accompanying services and applications, helping businesses’ software deployments become more and more popular. faster.

An example of Public Cloud is AWS, with AWS, the deployment of our application is very fast, the specific case is when we need the Redis application, we do not need to install anything, AWS provides us with the service. Elasticache and just a few simple steps we have Redis to use.

Most Public Cloud developers provide users with Web Console tools and APIs so that users can easily access Cloud resources.

Private Cloud

Private Cloud is a Cloud model whose resources are allocated exclusively to businesses or their employees and partners. Private Cloud is an environment that requires high security, so it is often placed in a firewall and not everyone can access it. Private Cloud is usually developed and managed directly by the business that uses it.

We can simply understand that Private Cloud is an enterprise’s own Data Center that uses Cloud Computing technology.

An example of Private Cloud is FPT Cloud, FPT develops Cloud for personal use by businesses and employees.

It is not easy for businesses to develop their own Cloud environment, but now that problem has been partially solved.

Use Public Cloud on Data Center

Today, Public Cloud developers package their Cloud services into applications that can be installed on an enterprise’s Data Center (On-premises) environment.

With this, businesses can use Public Cloud services easily and still ensure security, because data and applications are run on their Data Center.
