Chrome for Android is about to have a feature that helps you not to close all the tabs by mistake

Google Chrome is the most widely used web browser application on Android, in large part because it comes pre-installed on nearly every Android smartphone and it is also the dominant browser on computers. Sometimes using Chrome, you will open a lot of tabs at once and there will be times when you accidentally close all of these tabs even though there is still work to do.

In a future version of Chrome Android, you’ll be able to avoid accidentally closing all of your tabs at once, thanks to an additional message box that lets you confirm whether you really want to do so.

In Chrome Canary – the version of Chrome that Google uses to test new features before rolling out to the final version – you can visit chrome//:flags to enable the “Close all tabs ” option. Enabling this option will allow the browser to give you a notification when you are about to close all your tabs.

This can be helpful if you find yourself the one who closes all of your open tabs by mistake. Sometimes, little things like this can make a big difference in the experience of using a browser.

If you want to try this functionality out for yourself, you’ll need to download Chrome Canary , which is a very unstable version of Chrome, which you should consider before using. It is not known when Google will bring this feature to the official Chome version.
