SenseTime says AI can quickly detect people with a fever in the crowd using facial recognition algorithms and image temperature measurement technology. As a result, the temperature meter in crowded places can quickly detect people with temperatures exceeding the threshold of 37 degrees C.

In addition, the company has developed an intelligent medical imaging assessment system, helping doctors diagnose people infected with viruses more quickly.

AI is currently being used in efforts to control the disease in China. Some hospitals in this country are using smart devices with AI applications, supporting the diagnosis of illness. Meanwhile, the terminals also install thermometers that use AI to constantly measure and analyze the temperature of passengers.

According to Chinadaily , a CCTV system that uses AI to screen suspected people can detect 15 suspicious people even when they are more than 3m away. In particular, the whole process only needs one driver.

In case passengers wear masks or cover up their faces, Chinese scientists have also had a solution to this problem. A team of scientists and researchers in Haidian District, Beijing has developed an AI solution that supports the screening of suspicious people using infrared scanning technology.
