Chat GPT – How to quickly create an account for users in Vietnam

These days, the media is so hyped about a Bot called ChatGPT, guys. After using ChatGPT for a while, as well as creating chat accounts for many other brothers, I would like to share the steps that I have taken to register a ChatGPT account.

1. Create a ChatGPT account

Currently, ChatGPT is not available in Vietnam, so to register an account, you need to use an overseas IP address and a foreign phone number (any country where ChatGPT is available).

1.1 Use tools to fake foreign IP addresses

Here I use Chrome’s Touch VPN extension.

  1. you click on the link, then click the ” Add to Chrome ” button

  1. Click on ” Add Extension “

  1. It will redirect to Touch VPN ‘s homepage, you don’t need to care, turn it off
  2. Click on the puzzle piece icon in the upper right corner of the browser, click on “Touch VPN”, select “Connect .”

So the step of fake foreign IP is done.

1.2 Register for a ChatGPT account

Next, go to this link https://chat.openai.com/auth/login and click “Sign Up” , select “Continue with Google”

After entering your email, an account verification mail will be sent to your email, go to your mail box and click verify. Proceed to enter the username, then the phone number input screen will appear. Now we go to step 3, get a foreign phone number

1.3 Registering a foreign phone number

I use the service of ” https://www.smspool.net/ ” to buy OTP from foreign phone numbers.

  1. After registering an account, select ” Deposit ” to enter the deposit screen

  1. Select “Credit Card” and the amount is 1USD

  1. At the payment screen, proceed to enter card information and authenticate
  2. After successfully depositing, you go to ” Quick Order “, select the service as ” OpenAI / ChatGPT “, Then a list of countries will appear below, you can choose 1 country and click ” Purchase ” button. (I often use US or Lavita because of the high success rate of purchase)

  1. Copy the displayed phone number into the ChatGPT phone number input screen in step 2 and press send code

  1. Go back to the smspool screen to get the OTP and enter it in the ChatGPT screen. That’s it, now you can chat with it as much as you like

2. How to use ChatGPT effectively

  • ChatGPT is still in beta, so don’t trust it 100%, because sometimes there are errors or errors, new events have not been updated (according to NPH’s information, it has only been trained in year 2021)
  • Some features we can use with it such as: Q&A on academic issues, poetry writing, music composition, writing, bug fixing, ….. In my personal opinion, you should chat with it in English, the content will be more accurate than Vietnamese chat
  • The feature that I like most about ChatGPT is that it can respond to information based on the content of the previous message context, besides, it also saves the chat inbox of each topic (Locs in the left menu bar. )
  • Although ChatGPT is quite convenient, we should not overdo it and depend on it
