Accordingly, the car charging fee at VinFast’s public charging stations is 2,834 VND/kWh (excluding VAT) – equivalent to the current level 5 electricity price. Thus, to fully charge the 42 kWh battery pack, users have to pay a fee of 119,000 VND (excluding VAT) for a range of nearly 300 km.

Along with that, VinFast also announced a new battery subscription package for customers using VF e34. The new subscription rate will be 657,000 VND/month for a maximum distance of 500 km. If exceeding 500 km/month, customers will have to pay a fee of 1,315 VND/km over. Previously, the company announced to charge subscribers 1.45 million VND for the distance of 1,400 km, the fee is nearly 1,000 VND / 1 km over.

Customers will still have a lifetime battery subscription and the annual battery rental price will be adjusted on December 1 of each year, based on the increase/decrease in gas/electricity prices. When the charging capacity of the battery drops below 70%, VinFast will replace the battery with a new one for customers (free of charge).

Regarding the charger, when buying a car, customers will be given a 2.2 kW mobile charger to charge at home. The company also provides a wall charger for VND 9.4 million.
