At CES 2020, Dell recently launched a new version of its XPS 13 laptop. Bearing the code of XPS 13 9300, this machine brings a number of changes to the screen and configuration.

The screen is the biggest improvement on the new XPS 13. From the 13.3-inch 16: 9 screen of previous generations, the XPS 13 9300 has a larger 13.4-inch screen with a 16:10 aspect ratio. This higher screen ratio will help improve the ability of users to work, including especially web browsing and office tasks. Users will be able to choose from a variety of screen versions, including 1920×1200 or 3840×2400 resolution, with or without touch support.

However, the most remarkable point about the XPS 13 9300 screen is the ultra-thin bezel. Dell said it reduced the size of the bezels on the bottom edge from 19.5mm to only 4.6mm, thereby achieving a screen-to-body ratio of 91.5%.

Dell also upgraded the keyboard and trackpad of the XPS 13 9300. Specifically, the keycap on the keyboard is larger, in addition to the key travel is guaranteed at 1mm despite the very thin body. Table drag is also 19% larger than its predecessor.
