Brand Finance Global 500: Amazon continues to become the most valuable brand in the world for 3 consecutive years

According to the latest Brand Finance Global 500, Amazon continues to be the most valuable brand in the world for 3 consecutive years. The estimated value of this brand is up to 220.7 billion USD.

This is also the first time a company has achieved a brand value exceeding 200 billion USD. Overall, Amazon’s value has increased by 17.5% compared to 2019.

This growth is attributed to the expansion of Amazon in the field of cloud computing, streaming services, consumer electronics and logistics. Going through the list of top 10, some other names have not changed too much.

Google is still in second place with a brand value of $ 159.7 billion. Followed by Apple with $ 140.5 billion, down 8.5% from last year.

Microsoft has a brand value of more than $ 177 billion, ranked fourth and fifth is Samsung with $ 94.4 billion. Meanwhile, Facebook ranked 7th with an estimated brand value of US $ 79.5 billion. Huawei also made the top 10 list with $ 65 billion.

Notably, the Nokia brand saw a 1% increase to $ 9.9 billion and was also the only Finnish candidate in the top 500 most valuable brands in the world. Nokia’s position has increased from 188 (last year) to 182 this year.

Overall, the technology sector is showing the highest brand value. The total brand value from 46 technology companies on the list amounted to $ 986.5 billion.
