Responding to ICTnews, Bkav media representative affirmed that the next generation of Bphone will have a 5G connection. In addition, Bkav will produce high-end phones. But the specific launch time of the product has not been revealed. This person also did not say whether to launch Bphone this year or not.

As usual, Bkav will launch new Bphone annually since 2015. Last May, Bkav launched 4 models B40, B60, B86 and B86s. In particular, the B40 and B60 have been delayed many times, have not yet been released to the market, and then changed to become a smartphone specializing in security, sold to Europe, according to Quang.

5G has become an important keyword in Vietnam in the last two years in the telecommunications field. All 3 operators Viettel, MobiFone, VinaPhone are testing 5G broadcasting in the central areas of Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. Carriers are continuing to expand this coverage.

Some smartphones in Vietnam have been registered with carriers to be able to connect to 5G. Typical models include: Samsung S21 series, Oppo (Find X2, Find X2 pro), Xiaomi (Mi 10T Pro 5G, Poco F2 Pro), ZTE (AXON 10 pro 5G), Realme (Realme X50 pro 5G), Huawei (P40, P40 pro, P40 Pro Plus). Although the iPhone 12 series is not yet official, some people are already on 5G.

Currently on the market, there are about 20 smartphones with 5G support, with prices from 6 million VND or more.
