Bill Gates: The Korean pharmaceutical company will ship 200 million doses of Covid-19 vaccine in June next year

By June 2021, SK Bioscience, a South Korean pharmaceutical company backed by billionaire Bill Gates, could produce 200 million doses of the new strain of corona virus vaccine. That’s the information shared by the founder of Microsoft Corporation in a letter to South Korean President Moon Jae-in.

According to the content of the July 20 letter cited by the Office of the President of the Republic of Korea, billionaire Bill Gates wishes to cooperate closely with South Korea. In April, the American billionaire and President Moon spoke on the phone, discussing fighting the virus together and developing a vaccine.

The whole world is in a race to develop a vaccine that will help protect the community against a new virus that is having a terrible impact on the global economy. Gates said investing in factories around the world would help ensure that areas outside the United States were not left behind in the Covid-19 vaccine race.

According to WHO, there are currently 23 potential vaccines in the world.
