Computerworld’s annual Best Places to Work in IT list showcases the top 100 U.S. workplaces for technology professionals.

Here we’ve gathered some highlights from the report. On the employer side, we list the top 10 organizations for benefits, training, retention, and career development as well as the average IT budgets, IT workweeks, and more.

On the employee side, we tally up survey results from more than 23,700 IT staffers at the 100 organizations who responded to a variety of questions about benefits, career opportunities, workplace morale, and more.

Benefits

Average number of training days for each IT employee in latest fiscal year: 7

Average cost per IT employee for all training in latest fiscal year: $1,959

Compensation

99% of the organizations on the 2014 Best Places list have budgeted for salary increases for IT employees in 2014.

97% have budgeted for bonuses for IT employees in 2014.
