ASUS has confirmed that it will launch ROG Phone 3 gaming smartphone in July, although no specific timeline has been revealed. According to the latest report, the Taiwanese manufacturer has begun sending invitations to the press for the ROG Phone 3 launch event, scheduled for July 22.
Specifically, the launch event of ROG Phone 3 will be called “ROG 2020 Game Changer”, held in 3 locations including Taiwan, Milan (Italy) and New York (USA). In addition, the event will also be reported live on the internet and begin at 22h Vietnam time.
Previously, ASUS said it would work with Tencent to develop ROG Phone 3, to optimize the gaming capabilities of this phone. According to leaked sources, this may be the first smartphone to be equipped with Snapdragon 865+ processor, upgraded version with higher graphics processing performance than Snapdragon 865.
ROG Phone 3 will have a 6.59-inch AMOLED screen, supporting Full HD + resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. In addition, the machine is also integrated fingerprint sensor at the bottom of the screen, while the front camera has a resolution of 13MP.
On the back, this phone carries a 3-camera system arranged horizontally with 64MP main sensor. ROG Phone 3 comes with a 5000mAh battery, supports 30W fast charging and has up to 16GB of RAM, up to 512GB of storage.
