Asus launches two new ZenBook Duo models with dual displays, the new VivoBook and ExpertBook super lightweight

At CES 2021, Asus launched two new ZenBook Duo models with dual displays. The 15-inch version will go on sale in April, while the 14-inch version for $ 999.99 can be ordered from today. In addition, Asus also released a new VivoBook and an ExpertBook, for those who prefer a compact design.

Asus’ ZenBook Duo series features a unique two-screen design, with one main display (regular display) and secondary display (ScreenPad Plus) integrated into the top half of the keyboard. Some software, such as the Adobe software, have special support for this ScreenPad Plus screen interface. In other cases, you can leave chat windows, Facebook or Telegram on this secondary screen, so as not to distract you while working.

ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED has a 15.6-inch main display, an upgraded version with an OLED screen of ZenBook Pro Duo 15. The 14-inch version is upgraded from last year’s ZenBook Duo 14. Both feature Intel’s Evo certification, meaning strong performance, great battery life, and more.

The two new ZenBook Duo models differ in specifications. The Pro Duo 15 OLED is equipped with Intel’s 10th-generation processor (the highest-end is Core i9) and Nvidia’s latest GeForce RTX 3070 GPU. ZenBook Duo 14 is equipped with Intel’s 11th generation processor (Core i7 or Core i5) with integrated graphics chip of Intel Iris Xe.

Another nice upgrade on both new ZenBook Duo models is that the ScreenPad Plus screen can be raised, no longer flat on the keyboard. As a result, users do not need to bend their head down to the keyboard to see the secondary display, a very inconvenient experience on previous ZenBook Duo versions.

Asus also improved the software, to better support this ScreenPad Plus secondary screen. Especially multitasking experiences with many applications at the same time.

VivoBook S14.

In addition to the two new ZenBook Duo models, Asus also released a new VivoBook S14. Asus says it is the lightest VivoBook ever, with a weight of just 1.3kg. VivoBook S14 is also upgraded with Intel’s 11th generation processor, with integrated graphics chip Iris Xe. The battery life of the VivoBook is also very impressive, lasting up to 17 hours.

ExpertBook B9.

Asus also released an amazingly light ExpertBook B9 at just 0.8kg. Asus says this is the world’s lightest 14-inch business laptop. The ExpertBook B9 is powered by an Intel 11th generation processor. Asus has integrated many technologies that support online meeting, such as two-way noise cancellation, Harman Kardon speakers and Wi-Fi 6.
