Asus launches 48-inch and 42-inch ROG Swift OLED 4K gaming monitors

At the ongoing CES 2022 event, Asus has just launched the ROG Swift OLED 4K gaming monitor with sizes of 48 inches (PG48UQ) and 42 inches (PG42UQ). In particular, the 48-inch OLED screen is not a novelty at this time, but the 42-inch size is a complete innovation.

Before that, LG was the first to launch a 42-inch OLED screen. Currently, Asus has not announced the official price and release date of the two new ROG Swift OLED screens. But as usual, OLED screens are not cheap at all.

Both new ROG Swift OLED monitors feature 4K resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels), an impressive contrast ratio of 1,000,000 – 1, lightning-fast 0.1ms response time, 120Hz refresh rate , 10-bit color gamut with 98% DCI-P3 coverage and HDR10 support.

It has connectivity ports including two HDMI 2.1 ports, two HDMI 2.0 ports, one DisplayPort and one USB hub.

Additionally, Asus says the new ROG Swift OLED 4K display is anti-glare and coated with a micro-textured layer to ensure that users can see the most accurate colors. These two monitors also feature automatic frequency and delay change.
