Apple Supply Chain confirmed to have iPhone 13 with 1TB capacity

Tram Ho

Although it won’t be until September that the iPhone 13 (or iPhone 12s) will be officially released. But now there have been some very interesting leaks. For example, there will be at least one iPhone 13 model with a portless design, based on Apple’s experimental data recovery for devices without ports.

Besides, we also get a rumor about Apple will double the storage capacity of the top-end iPhone version, from 512GB to 1TB. This is not the first time we have seen a 1TB smartphone, Samsung did it on the Galaxy S10 Plus, but then reduced the maximum capacity to 512GB on future smartphones.

The latest evidence is analysts at Wedbush, who said that tracking Apple’s supply chain has shown the existence of an iPhone version up to 1TB. Of course, the price will be higher than the previous 512GB version.

In addition, the iPhone 13 (possibly Pro models only) will be equipped with 120Hz ProMotion display, significantly improving the user experience to become smoother. Using LTPS technology, the 120Hz frequency can automatically decrease when the screen displays static content, helping to save more battery power. The iPhone 13 will have an option between Face ID and Touch ID built in under the screen.

Apple’s supply chain-based Wedbush says the 12-series iPhone shipments are still going strong. The drop in output at the beginning of the year in the Apple supply chain is still common, but this year the drop is smaller than usual.

Analysts predict that Apple will ship 240-250 million iPhones by 2021. “We haven’t seen this strong growth trend for Apple for many years. The same thing happened with the iPhone 6 in 2014, ” said Wedbush analyst.
