Apple started selling refurbished iPhone XR, which is now cheaper

Starting today, Apple officially opens refurbished iPhones for sale. Refurbished iPhone XRs cost about 16% cheaper than the new purchase price, which is about $ 100 – 120 USD off.

In addition to the 64GB and 128GB models, the refurbished iPhone XR has an additional 256GB model, but only in black. When it was first launched in 2018, the iPhone XR had all three models of 64GB, 128GB and 256GB. However, after launching the new iPhone line in 2019, the iPhone XR 256GB was discontinued.

Refurbished iPhone XRs are unlocked and have no SIM card, so users can activate with any carrier.

Apple says all refurbished iPhone XRs are thoroughly tested and tested, packaged in a new box, with all the same accessories and warranty as the new purchase. Apple also replaced the new battery and outer case, so it’s nearly indistinguishable between a new iPhone and a refurbished iPhone.

Price of refurbished iPhone XR models:

128GB: 539 USD, down from the new purchase price of 649 USD, the price when launching 799 USD.
