Immediately after the launch event of the iPhone 12 that was just held by Apple at dawn on October 14 (Vietnam time), the iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max duo were officially killed. Users can no longer order this duo from the home page of Apple as well as Apple Store stores around the world.
Of course, the death will only stop at product distribution, but on the software side, the duo will continue to receive iOS updates within 4-6 years.
Currently, Apple retains the 6.1-inch iPhone 11. Users can still order this version with a price 100 USD cheaper than the time of launch a year ago. As such, currently the iPhone models still distributed by Apple include:
iPhone SE – priced at $ 399
iPhone XR – $ 499 USD
IPhone 11 – price $ 599
– iPhone 12 mini – priced at 699 USD
– iPhone 12 – priced at 799 USD
– iPhone 12 Pro – price 999 USD
– iPhone 12 Pro Max – priced at 1099 USD
The list above ranges from mid-range to high-end segment. We can see that Apple completely wants to occupy the lower segments, not just focus on the high-end and high-end segments. This strategy will help Apple capture higher market share in developing markets where Android products in the same segment dominate the market.
iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 will start from $ 699 for the 64GB storage version (upgradeable to 128GB and 256GB), while iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max will start from $ 999 for the version. 128GB memory version (upgradeable to 256GB and 512GB).
Users can pre-order the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro starting this Friday, while the iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max will roll out pre-order on November 6, hitting the shelves a week later.
