Steve Wozniak, Apple’s co-founder, was unimpressed by the company’s recently launched iPhone 13. At the same time, he said that he “couldn’t tell the difference” between the iPhone 13 and its predecessor, the iPhone 12.

“If the software in it [iPhone 13] applies to older iPhones, I think that’s a good thing,” Wozniak told Yahoo News.

He also added that he also couldn’t tell the difference between the new Apple Watch and its predecessor. As for Apple, the company advertises that the new iPhone 13 has a longer battery life, a better camera, and a more durable glass than the iPhone 12.

“In tech, it’s like you always want to keep up with the latest and sometimes you’re 5 years behind, 7 years behind, you know, and it still works and that’s like the source of the sales.” , Wozniak said.

Steve Wozniak, Apple’s co-founder, critiqued Apple’s latest product.

Wozniak founded Apple Computer with Steve Jobs in 1976, but he doesn’t hesitate to criticize Apple’s devices or business practices.

In 2017, Wozniak said he would not buy the newly launched iPhone X, and expressed doubts about the new iPhone’s facial recognition software. He said that he was very satisfied with the iPhone 8, which is similar to the iPhone 7 and iPhone 6.

After Apple CEO Tim Cook sent Wozniak an iPhone X, he went on to criticize the phone for its lack of intuitiveness, saying that previous Apple products were easier to use. The Apple co-founder also said he supports the right of tech users to repair their own devices, a stance that pits him against major tech companies, including Apple.

Despite his criticism, Wozniak isn’t stingy with praise either. In 2019, he said the Apple Watch is his favorite technology product right now, thanks to its ability to cut down on smartphone use.
