Apple Arcade gaming service may only charge 5 USD / month

Apple introduced the Apple Arcade gaming service in March this year. This service allows you to play unlimited games, for a monthly fee. Apple said there will be 100 new games on this app platform, including many exclusive titles. Apple Arcade may be officially released on September 10, right at the launch of iPhone 11.

According to 9to5Mac’s discovery, Apple will only charge $ 4.99 / month for Apple Arcade gaming service, and will be free for the first month of trial.

This is a relatively low fee, compared to other Apple services like Music or TV, for about $ 9.99 / month. Especially when Apple Arcade will also have Family Sharing, which helps you share with family members.

HSBC has predicted that the Apple Arcade service will attract about 29 million subscribers by 2024, bringing in $ 4.5 billion to Apple. However, the revenue level is based on a forecast of 10 USD monthly subscription fee, instead of just 4.99 USD according to 9to5Mac’s findings.
