An electric car set up to 23 speed records, surpassing both Bugatti and Koenigsegg supercars

This week, the famous electric supercar brand and battery supplier Rimac from Croatia set 23 new speed records at once thanks to Rimac Nevera. Not long ago, many of the acceleration records that were held by Rimac Nevera were surpassed by Pininfarina Battista – an Italian supercar that borrowed the Nevera platform, but now Rimac has regained what it was.

Among the 23 records set by Rimac Nevera, the most impressive ones can be mentioned the ability to complete 1/4 mile (400 meters) in 8.25 seconds, accelerate from 0-300 km / h in 9 .2 seconds and 0-400 km/h in 21.31 seconds. All of the above records have been verified when there are 2 third units present at the test school in Germany to record the data.

However, the data that makes Rimac most satisfied is the time to accelerate from 0 to 400 km / h and then return to 0 to reach 29.93 seconds. The company believes that this data proves a lot of the strengths of the Nevera electric supercar from traction, acceleration, power, aerodynamics to braking force.

The new record is faster than the old record of one second held by the Koenigsegg Agera RS (31.49 seconds) from 2019 to the present. Meanwhile, the Bugatti Chiron takes 42 seconds to complete the above stage.

The powertrain of the Rimac Nevera is made up of 4 electric motors divided equally among all four wheels with a total capacity of 1,888 horsepower and 2,360 Nm of torque. With this strong heart, Rimac Nevera drivers can surpass any model they see on the road when the car is moving with the reference acceleration parameter from 97 to 209 km / h taking only 2.99 second.
