An electric car model priced at 269 million causes a “fever”, goes up to 360km, can change the battery in the middle of the road

Adaptive City Mobility (ACM) is a new start-up car company established in 2013, with headquarters in Germany, at ACM gathering many executives from famous car manufacturers such as BMW, Audi, and Opel.

Since its establishment, ACM has focused on research and development of low-cost, compact and high-performance electric vehicles for ordinary users, especially in urban areas, thereby contributing to reduce environmental pollution.

The results of this research process have been concretized by the company having just launched its first product called ACM City One. Accordingly, the electric car model was developed with the help of Magna and has four doors, a modular cabin, and an interchangeable battery pack.

ACM City One is a compact electric vehicle with dimensions length x width x height of 3.6 m x 1.65 m x 1.67 m and weight 950 kg, respectively. This makes it a regular European A-segment car, not a quadricycle like the Renault Twizy and Citroën Ami.

The battery is replaceable thanks to four battery suitcases located under the trunk.

The car is equipped with an electric motor that produces 34 horsepower, allowing it to reach a maximum speed of 110 km / h. The 24 kWh battery pack has a part that can be replaced by four battery suitcases with a capacity of 2.5 kWh each placed under the trunk when it runs out of power, allowing travel for a maximum distance of 240 km (or 360km with Roof Box option – The battery is located on the roof of the car).

ACM City One has an optional Roof Box (battery on the roof) that allows travel up to 360 km compared to the standard 240 km.

As for the battery charging process, the car will take about 5 hours to fully charge with the included standard charger and about 8 hours for a household outlet.

The interior of ACM City One is quite simple with a dashboard equipped with a large touch screen, circular air vents, a few physical control buttons arranged on the center console and some storage compartments.

The simple interior stands out with display clusters and physical controls.

The cabin can fit up to 5 adults with a trunk capacity of 400 liters, up to 1,450 liters if the rear seats are folded and can carry a maximum of 380 kg of cargo.

The price range of ACM City One will be from 10,000 – 15,000 Euro (about 269 – 404 million VND) and is a direct competitor to Dacia Spring – one of the cheapest electric cars in the world.

Currently, ACM claims that it has more than 208,000 orders for City One with a potential value of more than 3 billion euros, however, mass production will start from 2023, as it still wants to continue. further improve the product.
