Amazon Says No to Bitcoin Payment Plans

In the wake of rumors that Amazon is preparing to launch Bitcoin and crypto payment solutions later this year, the e-commerce giant has finally answered: No.

An earlier report on the City AM news site, which is distributed for free in the UK, cited an “inside source” as to the company’s intentions. Supporting this rumor is a job posting on Amazon’s website that says the company is looking for a head of “blockchain and cryptocurrency products”.

However, many people believe that this is the reason leading to the recovery of the Bitcoin price in the past few days, from $ 30,000 at times to nearly $ 40,000. Not long after Bloomberg reported that Amazon denied these plans, the Bitcoin price quickly dropped below $37,000.
