Amazon launches Kindle Scribe: 10.2-inch e-reader with built-in note-taking capabilities, priced from $339

Amazon recently introduced a new book reader model called Kindle Scribe. This is the Kindle with the largest screen size ever introduced, and also the first time Amazon introduced to users a Kindle device capable of taking notes.

Kindle Scribe is equipped with a 10.2-inch screen, using touch-sensitive e-ink technology, with a pixel density of 300 PPI. The device comes with a pen that can be attached to the side of the Kindle. Users can use this pen to take notes when needed and it does not need to be charged. Kindle Scribe has a premium design, thicker edges on the left, only 5.8mm thin, battery life in months if only reading books and weeks if using notes. The product integrates a USB-C charging port for charging and data transfer.

Users can use the machine’s notes feature to create notes right in the book they are reading or create their own notes like a notebook. These notes can also be synced to the Kindle app on phones, tablets, etc. Soon, the Send to Kindle feature will also support sending Microsoft Office documents to Kindle Scribe.

The starting price of Kindle Scribe is 339 USD, equivalent to about 8 million VND. The device has memory options such as 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. The product will be available for purchase in late November.
