Recently, Elon Musk made a stir when he personally went to China to attend the ground-breaking ceremony of Tesla’s new factory in Shanghai. Debt with this country does not seem to end when information from Bloomberg said the world famous leader – who is considered a superman in the automotive sector is preparing to attend the conference on human intelligence. The creation takes place in Shanghai starting this Thursday.

It is worth mentioning that he will speak directly to Alibaba founder Jack Ma during the conference. “The conference could be geared towards talking about the current situation and the potential effects of the artificial intelligence (AI) industry.”

Previously, both famous leaders had made public their views on AI. Musk, for his part, expressed concern about the dangers that this fledgling industry poses to humans. He also founded a company specializing in AI research.

“I’m really exposed to AI every day, and the things that AI does scare me. It has the ability to outperform most people and can improve exponentially,” he said.

He also urged governments to tighten regulations to minimize the unintended consequences that AI can cause.

“I think governments have to set up a committee that is committed to scrutinizing, very carefully on AI. They should spend 1 or 2 years learning about AI and other technologies that can be dangerous, especially AI. And then based on those studies to come up with the right regulations. ”

AI is, of course, the focus of Tesla’s development with autonomous driving technology and future fully autonomous vehicle production plans.

Meanwhile, Jack Ma has warned that automation and AI will rob most of the world’s jobs.

“For the past 200 years, manufacturing has been the most productive industry, but today, due to AI, robots that the manufacturing industry is no longer the main engine to create jobs,” Ma said.
